(English) Almost weather is clear and nice Himalayan view. But temperature is still cold (minimum temperature was around 10 degrees list night). There was snowing on the mountain, therefore we can see very good sunrise view with white Himalaya from Hananoie

(English) During the festival, Goddess Durga was worshiped with different names for nine days. The first day was called Ghatasthapana. The ten day was known as Vijaya Dashami. On the occasion we saw all things neat and clean. Houses were white washed or colored with paint while in country side they are colored with mud.

さて、「はなのいえ」でとうもろこしの収穫を終えた後、畑には季節の野菜を植えます。9月は、次に栽培する野菜のために土壌の準備をします。まず初めに、とうもろこしの収穫後、土壌準備のため、土を耕し柔らかくし、「はなのいえ」でつくった肥料を土壌に混ぜます。土の中に残っている根っこを取り除き、苗床から畑へ移し変えます。その後、10日間程は丁寧に世話をすることで元気に育ちだします。

アスタムにあるはなのいえは、豊かな森、平穏な村、きれいな段々畑に囲まれています。この豊かな自然の恵みで、いろいろな種類の野鳥、たとえば、田んぼで餌をじっと待っているサギ、青空をホバリングする鷹やチョウゲンボウ、色とりどりのインコ、猛スピードで飛ぶツバメなどを見ることができます。
