At present, villagers, especially the women, are making traditional matresses called “gundri”. They are made from rice strow. The rice strow are keeping from October and November when the rice was harversted. The strow is very suitable to make gundri and can be used as cattle food in dry season.
We used our homemade onion, butter, honey to make onion muffins. The onion flavour and sweetness make us forget to stop eating them. We are proud to serve these muffin to our guests.
It takes 15 minutes on foot to reach the school on the top of Astam from Hananoie. Around 9 AM, we can see many students walking to the school. These bushful students always say greeting “Namaste” to us.
Today, I will show you how we make a tofu (Japanese style bean curd). We always make this standard Japanese food because most of our guests are Japanese. The tofu is made from soybeans.
