Good morning!! This is the month of February 2013. It is sunny almost everyday. We can see nice Himalayan view from Hananoie.

This time, our Staff Mr. Khemraj Dai making a basket, called “doko” from small bamboos. In countryside of Nepal, including Astam, the doko is very useful. We use it for carrying everything for our daily lives, such as fertizer, grass fro cattles, firewoods from the jungle.

Making doko is not easy. However, Mr. Khemraj is very skillful. Since it lasts only one or two years, we sometimes make it for our usage. You may see our staff making the doko when you visit Hananoie. It is very interesting.
