It is a partly cloudy day and we cannot not see the Himalaya. We can see greenery views and villages from Hananoie. Also, we can see many seasonal vegetables around this villages. The farmers are busy It rains almost every day. Today (June 30th, 2015 or Nepali month Ashar 15th), is a very important day. We have a festival and farmers are preparing special food for today such as yogurt, beaten rice, bread etc. It is tradition .

Nepali month of Ashar is a very important month. Farmers in all over Nepal are planting Rice. It is a main food of Nepal. It can be grown in all over Nepal. Around here we could see men and women,using domestic animals such as oxen for ploughing. They plant soybean. mas(dal) together on the edges of the rice field. Rice seed was planted in May. The young Rice plant is transplanted in June or July. It will be harvested in October or November and use all year. Rice straw is used to feed cattles in dry season. It is also used to make Nepali Gundri, a traditional mat. Soybean and Mas (Dal) are also harvested in the same time. Farmers around here use compost such as buffalo,goats ,cows dung as fertilizers. it is our traditional organic farming.
