Mother’s lap is the first school of a kid. After a child gets older and can walk around independently then they are sent to school. Before going to formal school home is the school where they already learn many things.

In developed countries when kids get a year old, they are sent to child care centers. Since the parents have to go to work. This is practiced in cities of Nepal. However in the villages most of the people rely in agriculture. So, since they have to get busy in the fields, they send their kids to school which also becomes a kindergarten. We also have a school in a Astam village which takes care of the kids.

Shree Bhumeshwor Lower Secondary School lies in Dhital, ward no 8, at Astam. Which is like 1400 meters high from sea level. And the school literally lies on the top of the Astam village. We can see long range of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre mountains from the school. In this school they run classes from nursery to grade 8. In which the kids having the range of age from 3 to 15 go to study there.

It is worth visiting the school which lies in the most beautiful place in Nepal whenever guest come to Hananoie. The staff from Hananoie will guide you up to the school during the village tour. Where you can play with little kids and share your stories. So, what do you think about visiting Hannoie in your next holiday?
