Walking to Milan Chowk

CATEGORY: Hiking

Hemja valley with cherry

The weather is not so good. It is cloudy today and we feel a little bit cold.

A group of guests from Germany has already departed. However, tonight we will have two Japanese guests.

People are working

Today me, Suresh accompanied a Japanese guest to Milan Chowk, the gateway of Hananoie. It was a minitrek to get down to Milan Chowk. We moved at 1 pm. It took about one hour. On the way we can see Mardi khola (river) and lachock valley and terrace fields. We could see lovely village (called “Jhigirka”). People are working in the field around their houses. They were growing some seasonal vegetables such as radishes, cauliflowers, etc. We could see millet (kodo). It seemed to be ready for harvesting. There were some tourists walking from Milan Chowk too. Ahead, we can see Seti river.

Jhigirka village

When we reach near Milan chock, we could see a beautiful Temple and Hemja valley. it was enjoyable minitrek from Hananoie to Milan Chowk.
