Today the weather is not so good. It is cloudy towards the Himalaya. It seems to rain all day. The season has turned to Spring, the season of transformation. The tempurature is rising, daytime is longer day by day. Trees on mountains look green with new leaves.
This is the asparagus season in Hananoie. We can get asparagus from February until June or July. We use composted buffalo dung to maintain the nutrient. Asparagus is very tasty. This seasons we could get asparagus from jungle also.
At present, villagers, especially the women, are making traditional matresses called “gundri”. They are made from rice strow. The rice strow are keeping from October and November when the rice was harversted. The strow is very suitable to make gundri and can be used as cattle food in dry season.
The weather is almost clear. we could see white Himalayan view in the morning, a lovely valley below with River Mardi Khola and many villages. Recently it is cloudy in day time. From here we could see green wheat, mustard and other seasonal vegetable fields. People look busy.
