Strolling around Hananoie
CATEGORY: Hiking

February is the season of mustard flowers. The mustard fields around Hananoie are becoming brilliant yellow and make the scenery of the Himalaya much more beautiful. Today I strolled around Hananoie. Let me tell you about this.

Hananoie is located in Astam village. It is sometimes called “Astamkot”. Kot means hill. It takes 15 minutes from Hananoie to reach the top of the hill. There is a primary school there. If you walk around 9 AM, you will see many lovely students in uniforms, strapping there hair with red ribbons. It is a good idea to take a slow one-hour walk for the round trip.

This photo was taken when walking to the school. The scenery of the Himalaya range and mustard fields are very impressive.
