Astam village is really beautiful. it is a small heaven on earth. people are so friendly. From Astam village, a clear 180 view mountain can be seen. small houses, green fields, jungles and the downtown views from Astam is really beautiful. At the top of Astam village, there is a small lower secondary school called Bhumeshowor school, where children from this village go to study. It takes 15 minute on foot to reach the school from Hananoie. The narrow rough steep way is somewhat difficult to walk but the views seen during hiking really takes our breath away. We often take our guests to school organizing small hiking program. When we go there, children become very happy.

<p>
Most of the region of our country Nepal is occupied by hills and mountains. There and thousands of beautiful villages in the hills. We have more than twenty thousand villages. And Astam village is one of them located in the lap of Annapurna Mountain Range. And in the most beautiful location of this village there lies our Permaculture Resort “Hananoie”
</p>
<p>
We organize a village tour program for the guest who comes to stay at our resort. In this village tour guest can experience the typical Nepali lifestyle. They can observe how Nepali people live in the village fully depending on agriculture. The old houses made of mud and stone, buffaloes and goats in the shed, people carrying heavy loads of grass and woods on their head, people using natural grinder (zaato), people using fire woods to cook food, people working in the fields to grow or harvest seasonal crops are major activities to observe. Apart from this, our guest also can see how the community is organized and they work for developments in the village. Bio-gas plant, producing cooking gas from the mixture of water and cow dung is also one of the interesting part to study about. It is very common in most of the houses in our village. If you are lucky you can also see how people use herbal treatments for injuries and minor disease. It is likely to say they still believe in organic things as food and as a means of curing disease, in which our resort is based on.
</p>
<img src="http://hananoie-nepal.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/DSC00239.jpg" alt="DSC00239" width="568" height="378" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1908" />
<p>
Most of the people in Nepal believe in Hindu religion and also the people in our village, Astam. We have millions of god and we celebrate many festivals throughout the year. And Nepali people are always welcoming for the guests to celebrate the festivals with them. And it will be a good cultural experience. So everyone is heartily welcome to our resort and we will take you to the village tour, you can have a coolest experience of Neplai life style and culture.
</p>
